The reporter learned from Nankai District that the new "Xingye shoe city" built in the Yangtze River Road area last year has now developed into the largest footwear wholesale market in the north, with an annual turnover exceeding 1 billion yuan. On average, nearly 200 thousand pairs of shoes are sold from here every day, and the radiation of Hebei, Shandong, Inner Mongolia and the Bohai rim area has formed the characteristic "shoe business circle" of the city.

In 2009, the original Xingye shoe city migrated according to the regional planning. 95% of the merchants moved to Yong Hao Xingye shoe city and formed a new "Xingye shoe city" business circle in the Yangtze River Road area.

The shoe city has a total investment of 220 million yuan, with a total construction area of nearly 60 thousand square meters, including 45000 square meters of four storefront main buildings, including 20000 square meters of commercial area and 25000 square meters of supporting warehouses. In addition, there are 15000 square meters of logistics facilities, parking lots and other supporting facilities.
