On the evening of 1, a press conference was held, which officially announced that Ben Laden, the leader of Al Qaeda, had died.

Before and after Obama's speech, many Americans gathered their national flag near the White House. They shouted slogans to celebrate Laden's death.

2 The Pentagon revealed that Al Qaeda leaders were killed in accordance with Islamic traditions and customs.

After the body was processed, the United States used the Karl Vincent aircraft carrier to carry out the burial at sea for Laden. His burial place was in the northern Arabia sea. This is the first detail that the United States has released Laden's hiding place and so on.

This was revealed to reporters by senior officials of The Pentagon on the day's briefing.

According to the rules set by the US Department of defense, the name of a senior intelligence officer and two senior officials of the Ministry of defense can not be disclosed.

Officials pointed out that before the burial of the sea, the United States handled Laden's body in accordance with Islamic tradition steps, including cleaning his body and wrapping him in white cloth.

The preparation time for the burial began at 1:10 a.m. Eastern time and completed at 2 a.m.

They revealed that the choice of burial at sea was because it was difficult to find a country willing to accept the remains of the terrorist leader.

According to the Islamic custom and tradition, Laden's body must be buried in 24 hours.

Laden's body had been photographed before being buried by the sea, but the Obama administration did not decide whether to publish the photos or decide when and how to publish it.

In 2003, after the death of Sadam's two sons, Wu and kusA, the US Army released photos of their bodies to prove that they were dead.

The Pentagon officials also revealed that they had confirmed the remains of Ben Laden himself in various ways before they were buried in the sea.

A person who is believed to be one of Laden's many wives has confirmed Laden's identity.

Intelligence officials said they found that by comparing Laden and DNA of several family members, he was sure that he was Laden.

In addition, the United States has confirmed Laden's identity through the unique face recognition technology.

The Al Qaeda terrorist leader, who has been in the dark for many years, was killed in the attack on Abbottabad, about 64 kilometers away from Islamabad, Pakistan.

A senior US government official said earlier this morning that the operation was carried out by a small commando helicopter.

The official said that the commando stayed in the building where Laden was located for less than 40 minutes.

In addition to Ben Laden, another three people were killed in the raid.

The United States believes that two of them are messengers and one is Ben Laden's son.

Another woman was killed when a man was used as a shield in the building.

Two other women were injured.

During the raid, a US helicopter crashed due to a malfunction.

U.S.A

Officials said the plane was destroyed by the crew and commandos, and the crew left the building in another helicopter.
