Avene

Avene is located in the southern part of the Severn mountains, 350 meters above sea level, located in the Uber Valley, between Espinouse and Escandorgue two mountains, 80 km from the Mediterranean Sea.

According to local legend, the therapeutic value of Avene's live spring was discovered by accident in 1736: the Marquis of Rocozels Marquis drank the spring water and recovered completely after bathing at the fountains.

Then, some patients began to use Avene live spring to treat nursing skin, and the first spa station was established in 1743.

In nineteenth Century, Avene's live spring water was known for its treatment of skin diseases and was recognized by the French government.

In 1871, Avene's spring water was exported to the United States to rescue the victims of the Chicago fire.

In 1975, Mr. Pierre Farber began to develop the sacred and dal's living spring and expanded its efficacy from the tradition of the southern part of his hometown, especially the traditional treatment methods. In 1990, and in the vicinity of the old live spring bath (1743 still carved on the stone tablet beside the living spring), Jian Lixin's living spring spa center provided excellent treatment conditions for more than 2500 patients every year.

With the support of Pierre Farber group (second largest private pharmaceutical company in France), the hot spring spa with a long history of 250 years has experienced a new economic takeoff. The concept of Avene Living Spring care skin has been extended and expanded to different fields.
