US Consumer Product Safety Commission Recalls Chinese Children'S Boots

In October 18, 2007, the US Consumer Product Safety Commission and Payless ShoeSource jointly announced the voluntary recall of Chinese children's boots.

The recalled product is a black children's boot with jewels.

There are guitar designs on the outside of the girls' boots, zippers on the inside and zippers on the guitar.

The "Hannah Montana" is embroidered on the back of the shoe, and a picture of the singer is printed on the shoebox.

The number of the children's boot is 4.5 to 10.5.

Other styles or numbers of girls' boots are not included in the recall.

The girls' boots were sold in Payless ShoeSource stores or websites across the United States in 8~9 2007, and the unit price was $27 / double.

The number of recalled products is about 90 thousand pairs.

The reason for the recall is that when the children walk around, the guitar zipper on the inside of the boot may entangle each other, causing the child to stumble or fall.

At present, Payless ShoeSource has received 5 reports of zippers intertwining, of which 1 4 year old girls wear their knees when they fall.

The US Consumer Product Safety Commission recommends that consumers immediately keep the recalled girls' boots away from children and return to the Payless ShoeSource store for full refund or replacement of other styles of shoes.
