A dark blue white dress, a white linen as a scarf, shoulders naturally, is full of designer's natural follow; pure black slope and leather shoes, simple and delicate bracelet, conveys the noble and elegant royal temperament. Mrs. Henrietta Spencer Churchill expressed his curiosity and interest in the innovative design education of Raffles in Donghua. She listened carefully to students of Xu Yi and Fu Rongpeng in the interior design department, and carefully visited the design models made by the students.

Mrs. Churchill, who loved art and design from childhood, is now the founder of Spencer Churchill Designs, a multinational interior design company. At the invitation of the college, Mrs. Churchill, combining her own experience, tells her artistic design path for 3 students in the interior design department, and has a relaxed and natural interactive dialogue with everyone.

She recalls that she was living in the famous brenheim palace in Oxford county with her family. In this world-famous Churchill family palace, she came into contact with the typical British Baroque architectural design art, which affected her choice of career. After graduating from design school in 1974, she first started with an assistant designer in a small company, which accumulated her life experience. In 1981, she founded her own company and developed her career from Britain to the United States, China, Moscow and other countries. She loves writing, and has written nearly ten books about interior design, spreading the classical culture of vitality.

"The traditional classical style has returned, and people care about the inherent quality of traditional and classical design." Mrs. Churchill's achievements include the repair of the novelist Edith Wharton's library. "I design it as a contemporary classical style, because I think it fits her contemporary style."

In the interactive questioning with students, Mrs. Churchill encouraged students to form their own design style and learn to manage the whole design project. She told students that in fact, only 5% of a project could be used for design, and the remaining 95% needed management and coordination. Now many designers can only do design work, because lack of management consciousness and ability, grasp the balance between design and management is a very important ability, is also her own way of success. In addition, she said that although she likes the style of Georgia's design best, she pays more attention to the style of the project itself, and meets the needs of customers and is the most important for the whole project.

The presence of students infected by Mrs. Churchill's cordial and easy-going communication has also attracted more interest in British classical design. Mrs. Churchill also enthusiastically expressed his willingness to invite outstanding Donghua Raffles students to practice in her China branch in the future.

As a successful designer and founder of interior design, Mrs. Churchill's success has obviously surpassed the honor that the family has brought to her. Her love and dissemination of classical design has enabled Donghua Raffles international college students to broaden their international horizons, enhance their understanding of design history and culture, and achieve a higher level of artistic exchange.
