Smart Sensing Sneakers Teach You How To Run

Running is a very popular form of exercise, but if you run too much, your body may be worse than when you first started exercising.

In order to solve this problem, the Fraunhofer Institute in Germany, together with scientists from five European countries, jointly invented the Runsafer intelligent sports shoes. This high-tech sneaker is equipped with G force, direction and GPS sensors, which can judge the intensity, speed and distance of your running, including information about whether you are on a hard or flexible surface, and when you take a rest.

This kind of sneaker can transmit data to your smart phone through Bluetooth, and the mobile phone connected to the central computer can analyze this information. Based on these, your phone will receive feedback and suggestions on how to improve your exercise. This intelligent sneaker can not only remind you to slow down or take a rest for a while, but also analyze your running movements, and even plan a complete exercise schedule, so that you can reach your health goals.

These functions sound very good, but perhaps the functions of this intelligent running shoe can be further expanded. For example, if you stay in the sofa for too long, it can remind you to get up and exercise. For example, if you are lazy on the way to buy ice cream, you will be punished by it.

The Runsafer intelligent sports shoes are still in the process of research and development, but the Fraunhofer Institute said it hoped that this high-tech running shoes would reach consumers in 2015.
