Lies Dan'S Retail Sales Fell By 25.2% In The First Quarter.

On June 11th, in the first quarter of three months ending May 31st, Lies Dan group's retail sales fell by 25.2% on a year-on-year basis while sales in the same store fell by 6.6%, and the electricity business fell by 16.1% during the period.

In May 31, 2019, the group had 486 retail outlets in mainland China, Hongkong and Macao, with a net decrease of 178 compared with the same period last year.

These include 428 self operated shops located in the mainland of China, Hongkong and Macao, and 58 franchised stores located in the mainland of China.

In the quarter, the group reduced 40 shops.

Lies Dan's annual performance Bulletin released in May showed that in February 28, 2019, Lies Dan had 526 retail outlets in mainland China, Hongkong and Macao, a 161 decrease compared with the same day last year.

These include 464 self operated shops located in the mainland of China, Hongkong and Macao, and 62 franchised stores located in the mainland of China.

During the year, 152 stores were reduced and 9 franchised shops were reduced.

By the end of February 28, 2019, the company achieved a profit of 908 million yuan, down 19.6% compared to the same period last year, and the loss of shareholders accounted for 28 million yuan, a net profit of 59 million 700 thousand yuan in the same period last year, and a basic loss of 3.97 points per share.

Lies Dan said the overall earnings of the group declined as the retail store integration and the sales of the same store fell.
