Chinese Textile Enterprises Are Planning To Set Up Shop In Philippines
According to "Philippines star" reported on August 19, 2019, Philippines Ministry of trade and industry (DTI) said that a Chinese yarn and textile production of Chinese enterprises are preparing to set up branches in Philippines.
Lopez, chairman of the Philippine Ministry of trade and industry, met with the representative of Tianhong textile group last week. Philippines hopes to restore the development of clothing and textile industry and benefit from this investment. But Lopez said that the company is currently in the research stage, including details of the investment amount and time.
Tianhong textile is one of the world's largest suppliers of cotton textiles, mainly engaged in the production and sale of core spun yarn, high-quality yarn and other garment fabrics. At present, it serves more than 3000 customers in China and overseas. The company has operations in China and Vietnam, and has sales network in Hongkong, Korea and Bangladesh.
