Us Releases $300 Billion Tax Collection Products

    In March 5, 2020, the United States Trade Representative Office (USTR) announced the first 300 billion US dollars to exclude products under the list of tariff products. This excludes a total of 8 products: 3401.19.0000, 3926.90.9910, 4015.19.0510, 4015.19.0550, 4818.90.0000, 6210.10.5000, 6307.90.6090 and 6307.90.6800, including 5 tax labels for textile and garment products. The excluded products will no longer be subject to a 301 tariff when they export to the United States. The validity of the excluded products specified in this notice is from September 1, 2019 to September 1, 2020.

In August 20, 2019, the US Trade Representative Office (USTR) decided to levy a 10% tax on Chinese goods with an annual trade volume of about $300 billion. The additional duties of the products listed in the action list A came into effect on September 1, 2019. In August 30, 2019, USTR decided to raise the additional tax rate from 10% to 15%. In January 22, 2020, USTR decided to reduce the tax rate from 15% to 7.5%. Listing B has not yet been introduced.

The 5 categories of textile and clothing products specifically described and HS codes are as follows:

1) 4015.19.0510: natural rubber medical gloves, gloves and gloves (except surgical), except hard rubber.

2) 4015.19.0550: medical gloves, made of vulcanized rubber, without hard rubber.

3) 6210.10.5000: 5602nd item or 5603rd item clothing: garments designed for use in hospitals, clinics, laboratories and other areas.

4) 6307.90.6090: other articles made, including clothing styles: surgical drapery made of fabric formed on paper or covered with paper.

5) 6307.90.6800: other manufactured items, including clothing styles: disposable surgical curtains for surgical curtains made of spunlaced or bound fiber fabrics.
