He further said that based on this, "ZTE started to have a new strategy in the second half of this year. Originally as a 5g equipment supplier, ZTE is also promoting the digital transformation of the industry."

ZTE has already begun to transform itself. In his speech, Tu Jiashun said that ZTE has gradually completed the transformation from a traditional manufacturing company to an extreme cloud company by using cloud computing, artificial intelligence and big data technologies. With this in mind, ZTE takes itself as a sample case of traditional manufacturing industry and takes the road of digital transformation first.

"We have the ultimate office cloud, which can bring reference to the vast majority of industries; research and development cloud is based on software, as well as matching hardware, client and other full range of solutions. Therefore, when 5g technology was implemented, the performance was improved a lot, but the tariff was not significantly improved, and the operation and maintenance labor cost was not greatly improved. "For industries like factories and mines, accuracy and reliability are the first priority, but the cost is the second and third. So we think it's a lucrative demand with a huge market. " He continued.

Among these huge industrial objects with transformation needs, the manufacturing industry must bear the brunt and be the most willing field. Other industries, including education, finance, logistics and medical treatment, also have active demands for digital transformation.

"For example, coal mines have a large market. If 5g technology is connected to the mine cave, the number of people going down the well can be greatly reduced through remote control, and the number of people who may be affected by mine disasters can be reduced. Another example is port logistics. 5g remote control crane can dispatch multiple machines at the same time, which not only greatly improves the working environment, but also increases the labor productivity by 3-4 times."
