　　 On April 22, the eighth executive council of the fifth session of the China Industrial Textile Industry Association and the seminar on the development strategy of the industrial textile industry during the "fifteenth five-year plan" were held in Suqian, Jiangsu Province. 　　 Cao Xuejun said that during the "14th Five Year Plan" period, the industrial textile industry has made great progress, laying a solid foundation for the next step of development. During the "Tenth Five Year Plan" period, the industry should strengthen innovation leadership, adapt to the trend of scientific and technological revolution and industrial change, help cultivate new quality productivity, help meet people's needs for a better life, improve quality, create brands, focus on market segments, create differentiated competitive advantages, and comprehensively enhance the industry's comprehensive competitiveness.

　　 Li Lingshen said that during the "14th Five Year Plan" period, the main feature of the industrial textile industry was the further continuation of the trend of seeking progress while maintaining stability, and the initial effect of quantity expansion to quality improvement, which is still an important engine for innovation drive and industrial upgrading of China's textile industry. The forms faced by the industry during the "15th Five Year Plan" include normalization of competition among major countries, multipolarization of the world political and economic pattern, acceleration of scientific and technological iteration and upgrading, and decentralization of market supply pattern.
